Health Occupations Students of America

The Ishpeming High School chapter of Health Occupations Students of America, or HOSA, began in 2003.  Its mission is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality healthcare by providing opportunities for knowledge, skills and leadership development of all health occupations education students, therefore helping the students to meet the needs of the health care community.  HOSA meets during Health Care class time once or twice a month.  Students plan service projects and participate in Regional and State competions.
