Membership
to the National Honor Society is limited to
those juniors and seniors who are selected by a
faculty committee in the spring of each
year. Students selected must meet the
minimum GPA requirement and demonstrate
outstanding character, leadership, and service.
The group meets on an as-needed basis -- usually
once a month. Otherwise, the officers
and/or advisor communicate with membership
through individual contacts. The
organization's purpose is to serve others and to
be role models for the rest of the student
body. They participate in many service
activities and give monetary donations to
Children International, Harbor House, and local
people in need.
