Tina A. Bambach, FNP-BC

 

 

 

 

 

Tina is a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She received her undergraduate Nursing degree at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN and obtained her Master’s degree/Nurse Practitioner from Northern Michigan University.  In addition to the Hematite Health Clinic, Tina continues to work for the Superior Walk-In.  She is from Northern Minnesota and has been living in Marquette for the past 7 years.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, cross country skiing and traveling.

 


Eric Turner, LMSW, CAADC

Eric is a mental health counselor. He received his undergraduate degree at Northern Michigan University and his Masters of Social Work at Michigan State University. Eric provided counseling services for Great Lakes Recovery for four years. He also currently works as a private practice therapist in both Ishpeming and Marquette and is a School Social Worker for MARESA. Eric has enjoyed supporting Ishpeming student athletes as both a coach and as a fan in the past and is excited to provide mental health services for the school. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He also plays softball, works out at the gym, loves to travel, and heads to the beach whenever he can.

 


Sarah Engstrom, RN, BSN

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sarah is a Registered Nurse. She earned bachelor’s degrees from both the University of Minnesota and Northern Michigan University.  Her nursing experience has involved working at The Western Upper Peninsula Health Department as a Public Health Nurse, and most recently at The Gwinn Teen Clinic as the Clinic Coordinator.  Sarah is originally from South Dakota and lived in Minnesota for many years before moving to the UP. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and four young kids, hiking, playing and watching sports, and traveling.

 

 


Vicki Jordens, Clinic Secretary

 

 

 

 

 

Vicki is the Hematite Health Clinic Secretary.  Prior to coming to HHC, she worked for 10 years as Office Coordinator in an outpatient surgery center in Wisconsin. She also worked for 15 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI. Originally from Marquette, she moved back in 2018 from Northern Wisconsin to be near family. She enjoys cooking, baking, cake decorating and writing children’s books.

 

 


Nicole Nelson

 

 

 

 

 

Nichole (Nicki) is a Licensed Mental Health and Substance Abuse Therapist. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Social Work with a minor in chemical dependency from the University of North Dakota. She also earned her Master’s in Social Work at the University of North Dakota. Nichole Grew up in North Dakota, has lived in California, and moved to Ishpeming in 2015.  Prior to joining the staff at the Hematite Clinic, Nichole worked for Great Lakes Recovery as an Outpatient Therapist. Nichole likes working with students and is passionate about helping others. Nichole has three daughters and enjoys attending their activities such as basketball games, softball games, and music concerts. Nichole likes spending time with friends and family, reading, walking, traveling, watching movies, and attending music concerts.
