Hematite fans, we need your help!

The Ishpeming Public School's "Halls of Excellence" is an all-inclusive annual award intended to recognize and promote the excellence of the students, staff, alumni, and supporters of the Ishpeming Public Schools and to recognize accomplishments in academics, extracurriculars, and life achievements.

If you know of an individual or team who should be recognized, we ask that you nominate them by either completing a nomination form and submitting it to the Ishpeming High School Office, or by completing a digital form that can be on the district's website and Facebook page.

To be eligible for the award all nominees must have attended the Ishpeming Public Schools as a student, served as an educator or coach, and/or otherwise contributed to the prestige of the Ishpeming Public Schools.  When in doubt, please proceed with the nomination.

The third annual Ishpeming Public School’s Halls of Excellence Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2nd, at 6:00 p.m. in Ishpeming High School’s W.C. Peterson Auditorium. We invite all Hematite family and friends to join us in honoring the Class of 2025:

Tickets are $25 each and entitle you to admission to both the Induction Ceremony and the post-event Reception at Ishpeming’s iconic The Mather, including refreshments from Mama Mia’s Restaurant. Tickets can be purchased at the Ishpeming Schools Superintendent's Office (first floor of the high school) and Gauthier Insurance in downtown Ishpeming.

Nomination forms are available at the ticket counter or by scanning the QR code on posters in the gym lobby.  Please help us recognize our Hematite excellence by nominating a deserving individuals and teams.  We are especially in need of additional nominations of past educators and outstanding graduates.
